LEON KAZAN, the chief electrical engineer for Day and Zimmerman for many years, passed away on May 2, 2013 at the age of 97. MR. KAZAN had his own company, Utilities Engineering, which did many large projects in New York, including Coop City and Starrett City. He graduated from Drexel University in the 1930's at the height of the depression. MR. KAZAN was born in Philadelphia in 1916 to the late MORRIS and ROSE KAZAN. Beloved husband of the late HELEN (who passed away in 1987). Survived and deeply loved by his daughters: DIANE KAZAN and ROSALIND SILIGATO, and his grandchildren: RYAN and TROY. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Ben-Gurion University.
