Lori and Joel Karsch of Medford, N.J., announce the birth of their daughter, Sydney Layne (Sarah Leah), on July 18.

Sharing in their happiness are sister Makayla; grandparents Gene Greenberg of Newtown; and Carole and Samuel H. Karsch of Philadelphia; and great-grandmothers Yetta Liberatore and Lillian Karsch.

Sydney Layne is named in loving memory of her maternal great-grandfather Sidney Garber. She is also named in honor of her paternal great-grandmother Lillian Karsch.
