On Monday, Oct. 2, the Jewish Federation hosted a meaningful day of celebration of community at Bluestone Country Club, continuing the 65-year tradition of hosting a Jewish Community Day golf tournament! Members and nonmembers, including guests from neighboring Radnor, Commonwealth and Philmont country clubs enjoyed an afternoon of friendship and a spirited golf tournament, followed by elegant cocktails, dinner and a special report from VIP guest David Schizer. The CEO of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Schizer provided a moving account of JDC’s remarkable efforts of global rescue and relief and how Jewish Federation dollars save lives. A wonderful time was had by all!
