Rabbi Myriam Klotz, director of Yoga and Embodied Practices for the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, will lead an afternoon of Jewish yoga practice and meditation as part of an all-day Jewish Mindfulness retreat on Saturday, Dec. 21, at Mishkan Shalom.
The schedule for the day features: Torah study from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m., with Rabbi Shawn Zevit; a Mindfulness Shabbat service at 10 a.m.; bring your own vegetarian bag lunch to eat at 12:15 p.m.; and from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mindfulness and Yoga.
Participants may attend all or part of the retreat, but the afternoon program, which runs from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., requires pre-registration with a suggested donation of $36, $54, $72 or $108. Space for the afternoon program is limited.
