Jill (nee Braunstein) and Tal Jacobson of Center City announce the birth of their son, Ryder (Shalom), on Aug. 31.

Sharing in their happiness are Pop-Pop Irv and Bubbe Barbara Braunstein of Bensalem, Pa., and Ventnor, N.J.; Saba Jacob and Savta Nira Jacobson of Center City; and great-grandmother Miriam Duke of Ashdod, Israel.

Joining in welcoming Ryder to the family are Uncle Darryl Braunstein; Aunt Ellen, Uncle Arthur, and cousins Samantha and Camryn Laichtman; Uncle Uri, and cousins Jake and Jagger Jacobson; and Uncle Guy, Aunt Tara, and cousins Ariella, Sophia, Givona and Guiliana Jacobson.

Ryder is named in loving memory of his paternal great-grandfather Shalom Duke.
