Ira P. Tiger, 76, an attorney, died June 2 at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He was a resident of Elkins Park.

Tiger was partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP, from 1968 to 2002; the following year he became senior counsel.

Tiger represented defendants in antitrust cases in a variety of industries.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 1956 and graduated magna cum laude in 1959 from Penn's law school. He was editor of the Law Review from 1958 to 1959.

Tiger was a member of the American Bar Association, member of its Antitrust and Litigation Sections; the American Judicature Society and the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar associations.

He was a lifetime board member of Temple Sinai in Dresher; past president of Elkins Park House Counsel; and a former member of the planning advisory board of Upper Dublin Township.

He was listed in Who's Who in the East, in America and the World.

Tiger is survived by his wife, the former Ann Mae Gersh; daughters Ruth Tiger and Lori Bennington; sons Jimmie, Randy and Richie Riesenberg; sister Sheila Silverman; and five grandchildren.
