In Praise of Virtuous People and Ways of Life

April 17, 2013 10:00 AM

Wednesday, April 3, 10, 17

Rabbi Howard Bogot begins a new series: "In Praise of Virtuous People and Ways of Life: Storytelling as Revelation."  The sage Moses Maimonides ranked stories above all other types of speech, including Hebrew Scriptures and prayer.  Participants in this three-part seminar will assess six-classic Jewish stories (more, if time permits) and reflect on the ways in which Jewish storytelling reveals the core-values and mystic elements of Jewish identity.

At 10 a.m.

For more information call 215-886-8000.
