Holocaust Survivor Presentation

January 10, 2013 9:15 AM-12:15 PM

9:15 a.m. – A performance of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” by the Wolf Performing Arts Center.  Presented to the public through The Butterfly Project, the production teaches lessons about diversity and spreads the message of hope.

10:15 a.m. – A survivor presentation by David Tuck, facilitated by Chuck Feldman, President of the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center.  David Tuck was 10 years old when Germany invaded Poland in September 1939.  Over the next six years, he endured life at Posen labor camp, Auschwitz, and Gusen II.  When Americans liberated the camp on May 5, 1945, David weighed 78 pounds.  He immigrated to America in 1950.  David is a Bucks County resident.

Grades 9th through 12th will be attending the program, which was organized by Mary Harkins, a faculty member of the school.
