HAFTER

Magda (Drobny) Hafter, 86, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2013 after a brief illness.  She was a Vineland resident since 1956.  Though she was oftentimes defined as a Holocaust survivor, Magda's true legacy is the wonderful family she leaves behind: Alex (Helene) Drobny, Martha Drobny Rudnick and Stuart (Lorraine) Drobny; adoring grandchildren Michele (Andrew) Witlieb, Jamie (Holbrook) Forusz, Karli (David) Ross, Suzanne (Patrick) Rudnick-Connelly, Michael Drobny and Jaclyn Drobny; and five great grandchildren, Ellie and Zac Witlieb, Halle and Kendall Forusz and Stella Ross.  Her family was the air that she breathed, and even in her waning days, calls to "Mom-Mom" brightened her spirits. A Visitation was held on Thursday, January 3rd from 12pm to 1pm followed by services at 1:00 pm from Beth Israel Congregation, 1015 East Park Avenue, Vineland.  Interment will follow in Alliance Cemetery, Norma.
