On April 15, family and friends of the late Ellen Silberman participated in the 23rd annual Gift of Life Donor Dash at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in her memory. The team, Ellen’s Eagles — named in honor of her favorite football team — raised almost $15,000 to support organ donation awareness. Silberman was an ardent supporter of organ donation and a recipient of a liver transplant.
