Jack Freedman, 83, formerly of Philadelphia, died on Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Florence P. (Sarett) Freedman. The couple would have celebrated 59 years of marriage on December 25th. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Louis and Lillian (Karlin) Freedman. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and had worked as a wholesale candy and tobacco salesman. Survivors: Wife; Children, Brenda Finberg and her husband Edward of Allentown, David N. Freedman and his wife Roberta of Frederick, MD, and Debbie H. Borochaner and her husband Gary of Red Hill, PA; Siblings, Bea Forman, Marlene Kaufman and Stanley Freedman; Grandchildren, Brad and Jason Finberg, and Sabrina and Melissa Freedman; and Great-Grandchildren, Brie and Derek Finberg. Services: Graveside, were held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 11 a.m., Shalom Memorial Park, Byberry and Pine Roads, Philadelphia. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
