Federal Donuts started in South Philly, and became famous for serving nothing but coffee, donuts and fried chicken. They have now opened a second location in Center City.

They open daily at 7am with the donuts and coffee. Then starting at 11am, they offer their fried chicken, which comes with honey glazed donuts. 

As for the question of why fried chicken and doughnuts, well, why not?
