Morton Eisenberg, age 95, of Boca Raton Florida, formerly from Northeast Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Mort graduated from Drexel University and was an electrical engineer who worked at RCA in the aero-space division for 45 years. He was President of Temple Beth Torah in Philadelphia for two years and also Man of the Year of the Temple Beth Torah Men’s Club. He was an active ham radio operator since 1936 and a member of the Beacon Radio Amateur Club. In 1982, Morton and Helen moved to Delray Beach, Florida for their retirement. Mort was very devoted to his family and beloved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Helen, (nee Rudnick) of 67 years, son Gary (Nancy) Eisenberg, daughter Debbie (Bob) Merion and five grandchildren: Marisa, Alison, Seth, Sarah, and Mitchell. He will be missed and remembered with loving thoughts about his devotion, intelligence, inquisitiveness and sense of humor. Services were held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach, Florida on December 12, 2013.
