Keneseth Israel, founded in March 1847, was the fourth congregation to be established by the expanding Jewish community of Philadelphia. Orthodox in observance at first, KI adopted reform in 1855, and thus became the first progressive congregation

East Asia: Friend or Foe

Dr. Lesley Solomon will consider future relations between our country and China, Japan, and North and South Korea.

We will discuss the changing role of the United States in the emerging multi-polar world.

Dr. Lesley Solomon has a PhD in International Relations with a focus on East Asian history and government.
 
She teaches a course on the history and culture of East Asia for K-12 teachers in NJ & PA.
