On July 24, 2015, immediate past Jewish Federation President Sherrie Savett graciously hosted a group of donors at her home for a pre-Shabbat party, where they could toast to the Jewish community and the importance of taking an active role in repairing the world.

At Meadowlands Country Club, 110 people enjoyed golf and other activities, then attended a dinner where long-time Philadelphia Eagles broadcaster Merrill Reese spoke, and supplemental resources were raised for the Jewish Federation-supported Jewish Relief Agency.

The Mordechai Anielewicz Creative Arts Competition is an opportunity for 7th- through 12th-grade students from Greater Philadelphia schools to respond through creative expression to the lessons of the Holocaust and the related issues of ethnic, racial and religious intolerance.
