Seeing Red for a Good Cause
Some 900 men and women showed up for the American Heart Association’s 11th annual Go Red for Women Luncheon and Health Expo at the Philadelphia Marriott. The luncheon brought in more than $1 million, which will go toward the area’s heart disease and stroke research as well as education. Seeing Red (from left) are Geoffrey Klein, Emmy Miller, Donna Allie and Dr. Mariell Jessup, medical director of the Penn Heart and Vascular Center, who was presented with the Woman of Heart Award.
