Congregation Mikveh Israel will present services, dinner and lecture by Ms. Judy Petsonk, author of Queen of the Jews, the story of Salome Alexandra, the queen who ruled Judea in the 1st Century BCE; a remarkable story of a queen history nearly forgot.  Services begin at 5:45 P.M., followed by dinner and lecture: $18 per person, reservations required before Shabbat.  Everyone is welcome.
