Marni and Eric Chaikin announce the birth of their daughter, Olivia "Liv" Asher, on Oct. 29, in Los Angeles.

The first-time grandparents are Rochelle "Shelli" and Wallace Rosenthal of Hatfield; Marla Weissglass Chaikin of Monmouth Beach, N.J.; and Marc and Sandra Chaikin of Philadelphia.

Sharing in their joy are great-grandparents Bernie and Martha Levy of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Atlantic City, N.J., formerly of Philadelphia; and uncles Troy Rosenthal and Andrew Chaikin (aka "Kid Beyond").

Liv is named in loving memory of her paternal great-grandfather Oscar Weissglass.
