Celebrating the Extraordinary Life of Rabbi Yechezkel Landau - A Birthday Bash Unlike Any Other - 300 Years Later!

We invite you to participate with us in a two-week celebration of the tricentennial birth of one of the towering rabbinic figures in Jewish life during the middle of the 18th-century.  Rabbi Yechezkel Landau (1713-1793) also known by his most famous work, "Noda B'Yehudah", just happens to be the Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather of our congregants, Sue Fleishman and Lorna Tabby.  

 On October 1, Sue will speak about the remarkable saintly life of, and the extraordinary communal contributions made by her illustrious predecessor, who was also the Chief Rabbi of Prague.

 On October 8, Lorna will share with us fascinating excerpts and inspirational lessons from the personal writings of arguably the greatest Rabbi of his day and age.

 Time permitting, Rabbi Leib will share photos and stories from Beth Am's congregational tour to Central Europe (including Prague) earlier this year.
