Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors has been a staple in the Philadelphia community since 1944, and today, it continues to set a standard for business in a difficult field that requires special care.
Randi Casey is a supervisor and funeral director with Goldstein’s Rosenberg’s. She said that the funeral home’s success can be chalked up to its diligence and the personal touch that the company and its employees apply when handling sensitive matters.
“Our success comes from caring deeply about every detail and every family we serve. We take pride in being meticulous, compassionate and committed to honoring each life with the respect it deserves,” she said. “Beyond our work, we stay actively involved in the community, building meaningful relationships that extend far beyond our services. Over the years, that trust and personal connection have become the foundation of who we are and why families continue to turn to Goldstein’s generation after generation.”
For Casey, the first step in forging these meaningful relationships is paying attention to the needs of each and every family that comes through the funeral home’s doors, because grief and loss are different for everyone.
“The first thing we do is listen. Every family has a story to tell and specific needs during such a difficult time, and listening allows us to truly understand how to best support them. From there, we gently guide them through each step, explaining the principles and purpose of a funeral, and helping them create a service that brings comfort, meaning and healing. Our goal is to ease their burden while honoring their loved one with care and compassion,” Casey said.
With a history that dates back more than 80 years, Goldstein’s Rosenberg’s is as entrenched in the community as a business can be. Casey said that, in years to come, customers can expect the same high standards from the company.
“We plan to continue doing what has guided us for generations — being there for our families with compassion, integrity and care. Our commitment extends beyond the service itself; we believe in educating and guiding families through every aspect of funeral and burial planning, so they feel supported and informed at every step,” she said. “By combining timeless values with ongoing community involvement and thoughtful innovation, we’ll continue to honor our tradition of trust while meeting the evolving needs of the families we serve.”
