Seniors Shabbat
Area seniors, 60 years old and above, are invited to participate in a Shabbat program every Friday at the Jewish Communal Service Building, 2100 Arch St., Philadelphia. The 8:30 a.m. program offers everything from exercise classes, health screenings and discussion groups to featured speakers, live entertainment, educational and cultural enrichment classes, and holiday observances and celebrations. In addition, the day features a Kabbalat Shabbat service led by Rabbi Beth Janus, snacks and a hot kosher lunch.
