To get a good job, get a good education -- and Forbes magazine makes it all a little bit more accessible and easier to find that education in its latest issue.
With 650 colleges and universities making the grade this year, one need go no further than number 7 in finding the key to the Keystone State as an educational provider. That's where Haverford College comes in.
In listing the schools, the magazine concedes one of its qualifiers was a school of "great career prospects."
What would Ben Franklin say? His University of Pennsylvania, long considered one of the best in the blooming Ivy League, came in at 52 -- far afield from Swarthmore College, ranked as 16.
Farther down the list, with magnifying glass in place, came two other local schools. Next time the Owls face off against the Dragons, it will be Temple's team that will have bragging rights against Drexel: Temple's Owls were spotted at 496; Drexel's Dragons were dragging their tails at 583.
