Save the Date for Year's Biggest Fundraiser
September 02, 2010 This coming Super Sunday -- scheduled for Jan. 30 -- Federation will once again bring together the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community to make and take calls that raise vital funds for Federation's annual campaign -- the largest local campaign that works to provide critical funds to support Jews in need here, in Israel and in the former Soviet Union.
The Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy at the Schwartz Campus of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia in Bryn Mawr will serve as the headquarters for this full day of philanthropy and fun, which includes children's programming, LimmudPhilly learning sessions and an agency fair.
Two shifts are available: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Super Sunday 2011 co-chairs Michele and Robert Levin, and Bryna and Fred Berman invite everyone to make a difference by volunteering for this important communal event.
Note that in the case of a snowstorm, the fundraiser will take place on Feb. 27.
