Hall of fun -- that's what they plan to be having this Friday, Oct. 23, at Cheltenham High, when the school inducts its latest Hall of Fame members into the Wyncote shrine of academics, sports and good-looking kids. (Hey, when you're growing up in Logan,
all the talk was about dating a Cheltenham girl, with no slights intended to the Overbrook girls or Mount Airy girls, of course.) Making the grade are these class acts of achievement:
Judge Michael M. Baylson, Class of 1957;
Dr. Jack Angel Elias, '69;
Saly Glassman, '76;
Robert Greenstein, '63; Jeff Lorber, '70;
Major General Dr. Ronald D. Silverman, '65; and
Josh Goldsmith, '88. By the way, producer Goldsmith's many hit TV/film credits include Fox's " 'Til Death," for which the homer uses. Cheltenham High as a backdrop. It should be noted how special this Friday will be throughout the school; it's a Hall of Fame lunch menu too: mac-and-cheese and stewed tomatoes. "Stars" would attend just for that; of course, his favorite is shepherd's pie, but this is a special event.

| Larry Fine |
And when it comes to Halls of Fame, hope this inductee didn't bump into the wall before entering it: The late Louis Feinberg, Central High Class 132, has been
inducted into that's school's Hall. Of course, nyuck-nyuck, fans of the Three Stooges may
remember him better as Larry Fine. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that "Stars" just started that they used the plaque to knock him over the head posthumously.

Lists, "Stars" has got lists: And if you like the lunch at Cheltenham, you're gonna love the dinner at community development corporation Mount Airy's USA's "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" fundraiser. Wait, it's not Spencer Tracy and Sidney Poitier, but in some crowds just as notable: The Oct. 24 event -- dish
is it's at the Commodore Barry Club on Emlen Street -- will test the table manners of hosts Joe Banner of the Philadelphia
Eagles; state Supreme Court Justice Jane Greenspan; Art Caplan, prominent bioethicist
at the University of Pennsylvania; Miriam Peskowitz, scribe of The Daring Book for Girls; Shelly Yanoff of Pennsylvania Citizens for Children and Youth; Harris Steinberg of the U. of P.'s Praxis; and -- breaking news about breaking bread -- our own Lisa Hostein, executive editor of this paper. (No arms were twisted, and no "Stars" editors were hurt in the publishing of this detail.) David L. and Rhonda Cohen are chairing, but the others needn't worry; chairs and tables will be provided for them, too.
Only 50 shopping days to Chanukah, but Mama Doni's already got "Chanukah Fever." The singer from Lower Merion and her band are bringing the CD out on
Nov. 24, but Mama is dripping dreidel fever already. ... Swarthmore College graduate Kristin Levine has been paged for fame with the pub of her first book, The Best Bad Luck I Ever Had.
Wait a minute ... do Swarthmore grads ever have bad luck?
