Ms. Nancy Slater of Philadelphia announces the hooding ceremony of her son, Dr. Kenneth Salit, and his wife, Dr. Mary Salit, on June 19.
The ceremony took place in Chicago, where the couple completed their degrees and graduated from Northwestern University, where they had worked side-by-side for many years doing research.
They will work together again as scientists at Honeywell International.
