Richard and Sharan Rodgers of the Villas at Five Ponds announce the engagement of their daughter, Suzanne Bari, to Dr. Ron Gefen, son of and Michael and Talma Gefen of Gladwyne.
Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. She works as a nursing-home transition coordinator for the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging.
Ron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Swarthmore College and a medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College. He is completing a residency in diagnostic radiology, and will begin a fellowship next month at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in July.
The couple is planning a 2010 wedding.
