Dr. Robert and Denise Davis Schwartzman of Bryn Mawr announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy, to Isaac Mathes, son of Carolyn Bailey of Harrisville, N.H.; and Albert and Linda Mathes of Dayville, Conn.
Nancy is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history. Isaac holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in fundamentals: issues and texts from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in film production from the University of Texas at Aus-tin.
Nancy and Isaac are independent filmmakers. They met while collaborating on a documentary video.
The couple is planning a May wedding in Brooklyn, where they live and work.
