Carole and Yaacov Garini of Levittown, and Kathi and Michael Jacobs of Bala Cynwyd announce the engagement of their children, Michal Garini and Brian Jacobs. Michal graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in film. She works in the accounting department of a health-care benefits company. Brian graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in economics. He is a certified financial planner. Michal is the granddaughter of Ziva Garini and the late Itzhak Garini, and the late Rae and Benjamin Dickstein. Brian is the grandson of the late Trudy and David Jacobs, and the late Blanche and Morris Levy. The couple, who lives in Plymouth Meeting, is planning a fall wedding.
