Michael and Sharon Rosen of Southampton, and Arthur and Rita Schell of Huntingdon Valley announce the engagement of their children, Ryan Michael Rosen and Melissa Leigh Schell.
Ryan graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed in medical equipment sales.
Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in education. She is teaching in the Jenkintown School District.
Ryan is the grandson of Norman and Betty Mitnick, and Reba Rosen and the late Leon ("Reds") Rosen. Melissa is the granddaughter of the late Nazareno and Tillie Caponetti, and the late Edna and Herbert Schell.
The couple is planning a December 2009 wedding.
