On Deck: Primary Forum in Philly
April 10, 2008 Representatives of the campaigns of U.S. Sens. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain will speak at a public forum in advance of the upcoming Pennsylvania primary.
The event, sponsored by the Jewish Exponent and the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, will be held on Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m., at Congregation Rodeph Shalom, 615 North Broad Street, Philadelphia.
Appearing on behalf of Obama will be State Rep. Josh Shapiro. Representing Clinton will be U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-District 13). U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) will represent McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee.
Jewish Exponent editor Jonathan Tobin will moderate the debate, which will have an emphasis on Jewish issues of concern.
The event is open to the public.
