The owner of Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry knows a good pitch when he sees one, and he saw one at the stadium just named after his business. The Bernie Robbins Stadium is home to the Atlantic City Surf, and here it's turf for a gathering of Rovinsky (center); Michael Beaudry (left), jewelry designer in town for a trunk show at the Robbins branch in Somers Point; and Pinky Kravitz, popular shore gossip columnist and broadcaster. Rumors have it there were mysterious whispers at the game every time Rovinsky walked by: "If you build it, they will sparkle."
