Rabbi Abraham Skorka was appointed as a professor at Saint Joseph’s University this fall. Skorka, who has served for almost 20 years as the rector of the Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano Marshall T. Meyer in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will work with the University’s Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations to develop and expand its educational and research programs with the goal of promoting deeper understanding between Catholics and Jews.
