American Jewish Committee (AJC) Philadelphia, in partnership with AJC’s local Muslim and Jewish leaders group Circle of Friends and the national Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council, hosted a Muslim-Jewish Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony at City Hall. The event featured remarks on behalf of the mayor by City Representative Sheila Hess; a citation presentation by Councilmen Curtis Jones Jr. and Allan Domb; a personal reflection from AJC Philadelphia executive committee member Marcel Groen; and a candle lighting ceremony with AJC and Circle of Friends leaders and elected officials.
