American Jewish Committee Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey commemorated the 30th anniversary of Freedom Sunday and the Soviet Jewry Movement at a lunch program Dec. 7. During the original Freedom Sunday, the largest Jewish rally in U.S. history, 250,000 demonstrators marched on Washington Mall to demand freedom for Soviet Jews.
