The Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center’s 27th annual Rainbow Ball on Oct. 21 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, which was attended by more than 375 people, raised more than $777,000 to support the center’s core mission. Marge and Ty Steinberg of Elkins Park, along with Philadelphians Tammy and Michael B. Steinberg, received the Family Award, in recognition of their dedication to improving the quality of life of older adults. The event’s theme “To the Future” acknowledged the center’s new Edna Young Gordon Healthy Brain and Memory Center, which will provide support for seniors with dementia.
