Aaronson-Moshkovitz

Roselyn and Steve Aaronson of New Hope announce the marriage of their son, Scott, to Dana Moshkovitz, daughter of Sara and Haim Moshkovitz of Tel Aviv.

The ceremony took place on March 29 in Tel Aviv.

Joining in their joy are David Aaronson, brother of the groom; and Michal and Guy Moshkovitz, sister and brother of the bride.

Scott, who earned a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, is a theoretical computer scientist and faculty member in the electrical engineering and computer science department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His primary areas of research are computational complexity theory and quantum computing. Scott's blog, "Shtetl-Optimized," can be read at www.scottaaronson.com/ blog.

Dana, who earned a Ph.D at the Weitzmann Institute of Science, also is a theoretical computer scientist and faculty member in the electrical engineering and computer science department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her primary areas of research are probabilistically checkable proofs, pseudo-randomness and coding theory.

Scott is the grandson of Harry and Florence Aaronson of Philadelphia, the late Hannah Genter Aaronson Cohen, and the late Bernard and Rebecca Cha-nin. Dana is the granddaughter of Josef and Rivka Moshkovitz of Rehovot, Israel; and the late Moshe and Hasia Kiselstein of Tel Aviv.

The couple met at a workshop in Princeton, N.J., and now live in Cambridge, Mass.

Following the wedding, the bride and groom joined family and friends for a tour of Israel.
