The Mid-Atlantic Region of American Associates, Ben-Gurion University awarded Jane and Lee Bender of the Philadelphia chapter, as well as Robin Karol-Eng of the Delaware chapter, for service to Israel and their communities at its annual tribute gala. The Nov. 12 gala also featured the presentation of the Albert & Harriet Soffa Lifetime Achievement Award to Gerald B. Shreiber, president and CEO of J&J Snack Foods Corp. in Pennsauken, N.J.
